Yeonah Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, in 2014.
She began playing the violin at the age of 4.
Since she was 5 years old, she has been studying at the Seoul Central Conservatory with Sunny Lee.
Yeonah gave her first solo performance with chamber orchestra at the age of 6 and has won top prizes at numerous national competitions.
She has performed with orchestras and chamber ensembles several times as a soloist at the age of 7.
At the age of 8, Yeonah was selected as the youngest ever to audition for Kumho Prodigy in November 2022. She also gave her first solo recital as a Sun Art Hall Prodigy Artist in March 2023.
She won 2nd place at The Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition in Belgium in April 2023, and 2nd place and the Audience Award at the Piccolo Violino Magico competition in Italy in July 2023.
In September 2023, she became the youngest person to win 1st place, audience prize, and young jury prize at The 5th Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians.
She debuted at the Kumho Prodigy Concert in April 2024.
